On June 15th, Trexin’s Chief Security Officer and Technology Capability Lead, Glenn Kapetansky, participated in the 6th Annual SecureWorld Chicago. After hosting a private breakfast session for CISOs to discuss their issues and concerns, Glenn moderated a panel of industry experts on “The Current Threat Landscape”. The panel unpacked the current threat landscape from the perspective of global events, infrastructure, application-level security, persisting ransomware, etc. while offering experiences and advice ranging from threat intelligence, incidence response, and board-level communications.
Glenn was joined for the ending Keynote by colleague Rebecca Rakoski, Esq., for an updated version of their SecureWorld Philadelphia Keynote on “Suing the CISO and Beyond”, tracing major breaches like SolarWinds through the legal system and exploring the ramifications on a CISO’s role, responsibilities, and revised best practices.
