October Chicago CxO eRoundtable – Digital Transformation

Glenn Kapetansky, Trexin’s Chief Security Officer and Technology Capability Lead, attended Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum’s Chicago eRoundtable on October 22nd.

Ricardo Lafosse moderated the discussion on digital transformation which included challenges and tips around:

• What is digital transformation? It means different things to different companies, so it represents different challenges to different CISOs. We discussed common, underlying challenges such as a tidal wave of data and how to safeguard it while making it available.
• Deriving new insights from data to drive business value, but also ensure regulatory compliance.
• Compliance and resilience in the face of increasing supply chain disruptions.
• The new(er) dimension of privacy implications, which is related to, but not the same as, security.
• Data classification and retention challenges.
