InfraGard Chicago Chapter Winter Social

On December 8th, Glenn Kapetansky, Trexin’s Chief Security Officer and Technology Capability Lead, and colleague Isabelle Primer, attended the InfraGard Chicago Chapter Winter Social.

InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and members of the private sector for the protection of U.S. Critical Infrastructure. The Chicago chapter holds several educational and social events throughout the year for their members, and the Winter Social is the yearly get-together to welcome and meet new members, connect with U.S. government law enforcement and national security members, and have some fun.

A key highlight from the event was meeting with security leaders within the healthcare, life sciences, finance, and manufacturing industries and discussing the need for those with diverse backgrounds to step into more privacy and security roles.
