Prepare or Pay: The Current Ransomware and Supply Chain Threat Landscape

Glenn Kapetansky, Trexin’s Chief Security Officer and Technology Capability Lead, was a panelist at DePaul University’s 8th Annual Cyber Risk Conference on November 30th. This well-organized hybrid in-person and remote event included a number of Chicago cybersecurity luminaries discussing timely topics. Glenn’s panel “Prepare or Pay: The Current Ransomware and Supply Chain Threat Landscape” discussed the current threat landscape, what to expect going forward, and pragmatic advice for practitioners and executives. The panel, moderated by Michael Phillips of vSEC, also included experts in cyber research (Karen Heart, DePaul), cyber insurance (Greg Sparacio, Aon), and Board communications (Laszlo Gonc, New Era Transformation Group).
