Tom Kuczmarski and Dan Miller founders of the Chicago Innovation Awards presented the grand finale after a year long series of events that led to the final winners of the Chicago Innovation Awards 2016. Miller suggested  this would be his last onstage appearance as the host. With over 1,200 attendees, this year’s top guest included Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

In a total of about 600 nominations, 26 winners were presented the awards in various categories. This diverse group of winners included many small companies as well as ultra large companies like Baxter.

In years to come, there is a very high possibility that the “Taste of Chicago” would mean something different to technology observers.
