Linked N Chicago is an organization based in the city of Chicago that focuses on building and maintaining a dynamic professional network of business leaders. The organization hosts a Live Event monthly for the Network’s members and interested parties to discuss potential business partnerships and mentorship opportunities. Two Associates from Trexin, Jordan Carter and Steven Bills attended the April Live Event and met with a handful of the small business owners and independent business leaders who shared their own experiences and endeavors. Many discussions included topics like scaling teams, creating “win-win” opportunities with other small businesses and the overall health of the Chicago job market throughout various industries. A key takeaway from the Live Event was the importance of understanding your customer’s needs when creating a “win-win” opportunity as that understanding serves as the foundation of a strong business partnership at any scale.
