Leveraging Payer/Provider Collaboration in an Uncertain Healthcare Market – A Trexin Transformation Event
Minneapolis, MN
On February 8th, the Pittsburgh Blue in Edina, MN was the site of Trexin’s continuing Healthcare Transformation Series on the topic of “Leveraging Payer/Provider Collaboration in an Uncertain Healthcare Market”. Over 20 local Healthcare Business and IT senior executives joined Trexin specialists to enjoy an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, networking and a panel discussion. The combination of an industry-focused event, local business leaders, and a first-rate panel provided a forum for spirited conversation and deep insights.
The panel was led by three industry experts:
- Chris Bloomer – Partner, Healthcare Practice Lead – Trexin
- Jimmy Lee – Managing Principal – Trexin
- Jeffrey Hill – Practice Area Executive, Improving Health Outcomes and Cost – Trexin
The panel members shared their perspectives and experiences relative to the uncertainty surrounding the ACA in this changing political landscape:
- Payers – Though likely no material changes in the near term, payers will need to pivot quickly to prepare for changes in a ‘repeal and replace’ scenario
- Providers – The rise in consumerism and the need to deliver and demonstrate differentiated value continue to place downward pressure on revenues
- Technology – Continue to develop solutions that enable payer and provider collaboration in a consumer-driven model – sharing data and analytics regarding risk, claims, clinical and socioeconomic data
