David Jensen is an experienced leader and consultant with a combination of business strategy and process improvement expertise. David has focused particularly within the fields of business improvement, strategic initiatives, and risk remediation across the healthcare spectrum. He has directed many consulting engagements as a project manager, team leader, and analyst. Projects span from operational and clinical benchmarking to call center analytics development along with comprehensive operational assessments. David is also experienced in workforce planning and he has designed and delivered multiple forecast tools that enabled teams to be efficiently staffed. David has consistently demonstrated the ability to help clients achieve business improvement and increased value.
David was a Director at Optum where he led key projects focused on risk remediation, quality improvement, and analytic development for new programs. Prior to working at Optum, he was at Target leading the expansion of new Target Clinic locations, employee benefit redesign based on claim analytics and utilization forecast along with development of healthcare business intelligence. David holds both Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean certifications.
