John Crowell Promoted to Senior Principal

Chicago, IL

Trexin Consulting, a management and technology consulting firm, announced today that John Crowell has been named Senior Principal specializing in advanced analytics and machine learning to help clients with their business decisions. Trexin specializes in the application of advanced technologies that drive business value.

“John is one of Trexin’s most accomplished data scientists. Our clients tell us his work helps them accelerate their strategic agendas by providing the advanced analytics expertise needed to make important business decisions,” said Warren Golla, a Trexin Managing Director and co-Founder.

Prior to joining Trexin, John was a key contributor to marketing analytics at, and Solution Architect for, Health Care Services Corporation (HCSC), which includes the Blue Cross and Blue Shield organizations serving Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. He previously lead development and project management roles in the healthcare industry, including directing a team that created a large technology platform for a major insurance industry client.

A graduate of Knox College where he received his BA in Computer Science, Mr. Crowell also pursued intense self-study programs including online courses from Stanford, Princeton and Johns Hopkins in machine learning, statistics and analytics.

Mr. Crowell, 53, lives with his family in Chicago.
