Trexin Consulting, a national consulting firm specializing in strategy execution, announced today that Adam Beeler, PharmD, MS has joined the Healthcare & Life Sciences Team as the Drug Diversion/Pharmacy Inventory Management Consultant.

Adam is an innovative healthcare leader with over 10 years of experience in a variety of pharmacy practice settings. Throughout his career, Adam has implemented diversion monitoring applications, medication waste disposal systems, and controlled substance compliance programs. He has served as the chair of an interdisciplinary drug diversion committee at a large academic health system and has acted as the leader on drug diversion response teams. Adam has executed several medication cost reduction efforts related to inventory optimization, medication waste, and expired medications.

Adam earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. After earning his PharmD, he completed a two-year Health System Pharmacy Administration residency at The University of Kansas Health System, where he also obtained a Master’s in Pharmacy Practice at The University of Kansas.

He resides in Augusta, Georgia with his family.
