ROBERT BLOYD

Robert Bloyd is a business transformation and program management specialist with 29 years of implementation experience. Bob has led initiatives from turning around out-of-control projects to delivering major business transformation programs. He is a business executive who has delivered on the results of business and IT strategies. He focuses on achieving the metrics of business cases while addressing the complexities of organizational change. He has worked in industries such as telecom, insurance, pharmaceutical, agribusiness, and consumer & industrial products.

Bob has led the strategy, people, process, and technology components of implementation programs. He has architected, designed, and applied many frameworks to successfully deliver large complex systems. His projects have been with small teams as well as hundreds of business and IT professionals. Bob has worked with offshore development resources and the challenges for making an offshore program successful.

Bob has been closely involved with the evolution of technologies throughout his career including mainframe, client/server, object oriented, ecommerce and cognitive internet designs.

PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

At Trexin, Bob provides interim IT executive services, quality assurance, and program management roles. He has recently completed an ERP project turn-around assignment for a billion dollar company in the automotive industry.

Earlier, Bob was a Partner at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Among his accomplishments, he lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil and helped establish that firm’s South American manufacturing practice as a leading expert in ERP systems.

He later became the VP for Systems Integration for the Midwest Region of SHL Systemhouse to start up the region. He spent 8 years as a Partner at DiamondCluster Consulting (Nasdaq:DTPI) before he co-founded Trexin.

Bob has worked with his clients on outsourcing and offshore strategies. He has taught many courses on large scale system implementation and business transformation programs.

Bob has managed over 20 complex implementations with many spanning multiple years. His range of business transformation experience includes initiatives such as an IT strategy for claims management solutions, a turn-around project for managed health care applications, Enterprise Resource Planning, Department of Defense contract planning and control, strategic pricing, telecom provisioning and billing, grain management, and cable home shopping.
