George’s professional experience includes leading innovative, effective approaches in risk and revenue analytics, emphasizing fact-based decision-making that utilizes visual analysis and implements solutions into daily operations.  He leverages these capabilities in demonstrating measured returns on investment and truly using analytics for competitive advantage.  Applying this approach, combined with outstanding people skills, brings extreme value to IT and business solutions, delivering impactful results with a business focus.

 

PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

For Trexin, George drives solutions in the areas of IT strategy, M&A integration, and risk management while leading Trexin’s Analytics to Action service line that focuses on bringing tangible benefits to a company’s profitability and risk management capabilities.

 

Prior to joining Trexin, George led Ernst & Young’s Information Management & Analysis Services (IMAS) service line for the Financial Services Office. He developed six new sub-service lines focused on financial services and pioneered analytic techniques to address trade reporting, compliance, and risk analytics, having been recently published in Wall Street & Technology (Trade Reporting, Surveillance Key to Compliance, Feb-2008). With experience working with the SEC, both inside and outside counsel, internal audit, and the risk and compliance departments of many major financial companies, George brings a deep understanding of the most complex issues facing highly regulated industries.

 

As the Vice-President of Product Strategy and Application Development at PRG-Schultz, Inc., a leading audit recovery firm noted by Gartner for having data capabilities that ranked in the top 10% in the world, George led the global IT integration of PRG and Schultz, first as a consultant, then as an employee.  Upon joining PRG-Schultz, he later led the design, development, implementation, and adoption of the company’s primary revenue-producing technology platform. Serving many of the world’s top retailers, George effectively co-developed and drove an IT Strategy that spanned capabilities in over 40 countries and addressed over 700 different analytics-based solutions.

 

Joining Diamond Management and Technology Consultants, Inc. early in the company’s history, George played leadership roles in the development of 5 new business ventures and lines of business for Global 2000 clients where he spearheaded the vision, design, rollout, and execution of powerful business and IT capabilities. He led key projects in start-up planning, strategy development, organizational design, program management, technology integration, business plan development, and CRM to capture significant and lasting business value.

 

Additionally, George is a regular presenter and author in the area of data management and analytics, having recently spoke at the Tableau Software User Conference on using visual analysis for root-cause analysis and to the Group of 25, a consortium of the top twenty-five U.S. financial institutions. Further, George is a member of the Reuters Insight Community of Experts.

 

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

George has a Juris Doctorate from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, a Masters in Business Administration from Cleveland State University, a Bachelors of Art from Bucknell University, and has completed the Goizueta Executive Program at Emory University. He is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and a member of the Ohio Bar.
