DALE ANDERSON
Mr. Anderson has a proven ability to drive extreme value in a variety of business operations, consultative and community settings. He has achieved bottom-line results by effectively integrating business process, people and technology to improve customer satisfaction, business competitiveness and management control. PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Since co-founding Trexin, Mr. Anderson has assisted the spin-out and startup of a new 3rd party logistics company, helping negotiate the SPA, transition services agreement and serving as interim CIO. He has most recently assisted several financial service firms with strategy and operations diagnostics, IT and shared service planning and implementing a process-centric management culture and system.
Most recently Mr. Anderson served as a VP in Best Buy’s Strategic Alliances team working with business and customer centricity teams to partner with major players such as Comcast, IBM, Cisco, and Whirlpool. Prior to joining the Strategic Alliances team, Mr. Anderson served as the Business IS Officer for the Best Buy U.S. Retail business. In this role, he sponsored and directed all systems investments in support of the U.S. BBY store and BBY.com business strategies.
When he joined Best Buy, he had responsibility for directing all of Best Buy’s business systems development projects and managed over 600 internal and external development resources. As a corporate executive and officer, Mr. Anderson has also provided focal point leadership to several strategic business initiatives such as the LaunchPad ERP initiative, initiating their B2B and e-Business programs, their initial WWRE participation, the initial creation of their Shared Services business unit the sale, disposition and transition of the Musicland business unit and the watershed 2002 Customer Centricity program.
Prior to joining Best Buy, Mr. Anderson served as President of PRAGMATEK, a regional systems integration firm. Prior to Joining PRAGMATEK, he was the Midwest Managing Director within MCI Systemhouse, a large consulting and outsourcing business. He oversaw all sales and delivery within an 11 state area and had responsibility for the Insurance, Managed Care and Consumer Products industry groups and their Package Integration, Complex Applications and Integrated Infrastructure service lines.
Mr. Anderson held several lead IS positions with several Chicago-land business’s including the Caremark Homecare Division of Baxter Healthcare, Bell & Howell and Landis & Gyr (a global, Swiss owned building controls supplier). Mr. Anderson began his career, serving as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co. for 6 years.
