PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
A sample of Warren’s recent project work at Trexin includes:
- Developed
the business case and managed the subsequent $1.7M, 9-month program to
create a do-it-yourself document assembly system for a specialized
insurance provider.
- Led an effort to create a new
customer scorecard/SLA with baselined metrics aligned with service
management strategies (ITIL and CMMi) and linked to vendor SLAs as part
of a broader $750M IT outsourcing deal.
- Developed a
comprehensive IT Strategy and Technology Roadmap for a $50M economic
consulting firm preparing for 3-year 100% growth.
- Led a
rapid-response “SWAT” team that sustained the performance of an
application ecosystem supporting a $12B financial services firm during a
promotional sales event that drove a 600% increase in business volume.
Prior
to Trexin, Warren was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of
Javelin Solutions, a regional IT consultancy acquired in 2002 by
Perficient (NASDAQ: PRFT) after 6 consecutive profitable years in
business. Warren played a critical role in growing Javelin to over 100
consultants and $15M in annual sales without any external funding.
Javelin’s rapid success was recognized by two CityBusiness / Deloitte
& Touche 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies awards for the Twin
Cities in 1999 (#11) and 2000 (#9). At Javelin Warren’s role as CTO was
to provide clients with thought leadership and development expertise in
varies areas, including IT strategy, enterprise architecture, systems
integration, and emerging Internet-based platforms.
After the
acquisition of Javelin, Warren remained with Perficient for three years
as a Managing Director, helping to grow the business to over 500
consultants and $100M in annual sales. During this time Warren
continued to guide clients on a number of advanced technologies,
including business process modeling and simulation, workflow and process
automation, business performance management, business activity
monitoring, service-oriented architectures, Web services, distributed
on-demand computing, application integration (internal and external),
applied security and cryptography, virtual teaming, knowledge
management, and technology trend analysis and prediction.
Earlier
in his career, Warren was a Senior Consultant with MCI Systemhouse
(formerly SHL), where he developed the contract management subsystem of a
large commodity merchandising system for Cargill as part of a large
$100M, 100-person systems development project. Warren began his career
at Morgan Stanley developing real-time distributed systems for Wall
Street.
